However, it is one of those airports in Bhutan that only hosts one airline, Druk Air, which only flies from Paro and Jakar. If you are traveling to those cities or any other neighboring towns, then only you would be able to use this airport.

This airport in Bhutan is located in Jakar and was made in 2011. It is one of the newest airports in Bhutan. 

At first, it was only hosting flights till Paro, but unfortunately got suspended in 2012. Then, it was opened again for the usage. 

The airlines that are being hosted by the airport are – Bhutan and Druk Airlines, which fly to and from Thimpu/Paro.

4. Yongphulla Airport

It was made in 2010, but initially was constructed by the Indian army in the early 1960s with only one airstrip and was mostly unused by the people. It was then decided to be opened again in 2010 and get it ready for usage again.
