Bark Air Airlines: Where You Can Travel With Your Furry Friends

 In news

Travelling along with your dearest pet is like a dream come true now! Yes, Bark Air is now fulfilling the dreams of every pet lover which allows pets to travel along with their owners.

BARK, a company that sells dog food and toys, announced in April that it is starting a new service called BARK Air. This service will let dogs travel with their owners in the airplane cabin instead of being kept in crates in the cargo hold.

The first airline’s flight which is ready to fly from New York to Los Angeles is completely sold out, it has been reported that according to the company’s booking website.

The tickets for animals to fly in Bark Air were not cheap though it is a one-way flight from New York to Los Angeles which is organized in June the cost ranges from $6,000 and a flight from New York to London costs $8,000, this ticket price is for both a dog and its human. Well, the company is still in the process of reaching a goal to bring the cost of the tickets down over time.

BARK Air said the reason behind creating the air travel services for pets is  “because, despite incredible demand from dog people, there is simply no good or convenient solution to travelling long distances with your dog.”

And also stated, “We recognize and believe that life is better for you and your dog when you are together,” the company said on its website. “We partnered with a jet charter company to meticulously build out an in-flight experience from the ground up that is focused solely on the comfort and happiness of the dog first, and human second.”

“Bottom Line: No dog should fly in a crate,” the company added and specified regarding this!

BARK Air shared details of the company’s first flight on Thursday through a social media post, stating that:

“Right now, at an altitude of 30,000 feet, there is a flight filled with dogs. Unlike any flight before it, these dogs are not merely an afterthought, nor are they treated as cargo or a burden to the crew and fellow travellers. Here, dogs are the foremost priority,” the company posted.

BARK Air continued to say that the efforts to execute the dream of pet lovers which allow their pet to travel with them took around 10 years, “but we are finally confident that we can provide all dogs with the air travel experience through Bark Air where they deserve: one that puts them first.”
