Good news for the people who work in Delhi because the Government has declared the 8th, 9th, and 10th of September as a public holiday in Delhi. Thus, all public and private offices and educational institutions will remain closed. So what are you waiting for? Just take a fake sick leave on 7th September and go for a weekend getaway.

According to the G20 summit Delhi restrictions, unfortunately, all liquor shops will remain closed for three days. If your eyes just popped out of your socket after reading this, go outside and start stocking now so you don’t have a dry weekend.

As per the G20 summit travel guidelines 2023, several roads will be closed, and people who have their trains and flights on the said days are advised to take the metro instead of the road.

Since most of the roads will be closed or diverted, it is not advisable to take the road because it will take a lot of time, and you might miss your flight or train.

Will I Be Able To Get Essentials?

Essentials such as grocery shops, ATMs, and medical stores will remain open. However, restaurants, banks, liquor shops and all non-essential shops will remain closed.

Will I Be Able To Order Food Online?

Sadly, you cannot order food online for three days, including September 8th, 9th, and 10th.

So it’s time to make your mother happy by eating all the healthy food she makes. For those who live in Delhi, away from their families and consider Swiggy and Zomato as your mom, it’s time you get your cooking utensils out because your so-called mom is taking three days off.
