Kullu Gears Up For The International Dussehra Festival On Oct 24
During a special event in Delhi organised by the Himachal Pradesh state government, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations(ICCR) and Sunder Singh Thakur, the Chairman of the International Kullu Dussehra Festival organising committee released a teaser and a booklet to allow people to have a sneak peek at the International Kullu Dussehra Festival 2023.
Thakur also revealed that this year’s Kullu festival is going to be held between 24th October to 30th October.
One of the major draws that brings a lot of people to the Kullu Dussehra Festival is the International Cultural Festival, which will take place on the 25th of October.
The festival will host cultural troops from around 20 countries, including Romania, Russia, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Croatia, Thailand, Panama, Taiwan, Iran, Maldives, Kenya, South Sudan, Malaysia, Zambia, Ghana, and Ethiopia.
Thakur also stressed the improved connectivity between Chandigarh and Kullu, reducing the travel time from six hours to four hours and allowing tourists to reach their destinations comfortably.
