Picture a place where towering snow-capped mountains meet with the rugged terrain and where the beauty of nature blends seamlessly with the richness of culture. That’s Ladakh, a destination that truly has it all!

This enchanting region is a feast for the eyes and soul, offering breathtaking landscapes and a fascinating blend of traditions. Trust me; I was so captivated by the sheer beauty of Ladakh that I made it my next travel destination.

Hey, I am Archana, and last December, I decided to explore the stunning beauty of Ladakh. But planning the trip was tricky since the region has high altitudes, and I needed a reliable travel organizer. I searched for a group travel organizer that I could trust based on my previous travel experiences.

In February of this year, I came across Wanderon’s Ladakh Tour Packages, and they seemed like a good fit. Their quick and reassuring response gave me confidence in their services, and I decided to go on the Ladakh journey with them. Looking back, I am grateful for my decision since the trip was planned perfectly, and I only have happy memories of my travels.

From Mountains to Monasteries: My 7 Days/6 Nights in Ladakh

Join me on a journey to experience the surreal beauty and cultural treasures of this breathtaking destination.

Day 1: Arrival in Ladakh

The moment I stepped out of the airplane, I could feel the crisp, cold air of Ladakh. It was a welcome change from the heat and humidity of the plains. I spend the whole day getting acclimatized to the environment in order to avoid Acute Mountain Sickness.

Day 2: Exploring Leh

On day 2, I spent the whole day exploring Leh, including the famous Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara.

Day 3: A Journey to Nubra Valley

I started my journey towards the picturesque Nubra Valley, crossing one of the world’s highest motorable passes, Khardung La. The views from the pass were breathtaking and stopped to take plenty of photos. I also visited the Diskit monastery and the sand dunes of Hunder.

Day 4: Nubra to Turtuk

I had the opportunity to spend some time in the pristine landscapes of Turtuk Village. It was an unforgettable experience as I explored the natural beauty of this remote location. After immersing myself in the beauty of Turtuk, I returned to Diskit by evening.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Tso Lake

The day started with a drive to Pangong Tso Lake, one of the most beautiful and serene places in the world. The lake changes colors throughout the day and we spent hours taking photos and enjoying the beauty of the place.

Day 6: Pangong to Leh via Chang La

On our last day in Ladakh, we drove back to Leh via the Chang La pass. The drive was challenging due to the heavy snowfall, but the Wanderon team made sure we reached our destination safely. We had a farewell dinner and shared our favorite memories from the trip.

Ladakh was truly an unforgettable experience.

Day 7: Fly back from Leh

It’s time to bid adieu to this mesmerizing land with lifelong memories in my heart.

Ladakh: A Journey Beyond Imagination

The natural beauty of the place, combined with its rich culture and warm hospitality, made it a trip to remember. Thanks to WanderOn, we had a well-planned and organized trip that allowed us to enjoy every moment of it.

From the colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind to the snow-capped mountains, every moment in Ladakh was awe-inspiring. I marveled at the ancient monasteries perched on steep cliffs and was intrigued by the vastness of the Nubra Valley.

This place is truly beyond my wildest imagination! I have to admit, it’s the most breathtaking destination I’ve ever been to. I’m so glad I took the plunge and embarked on this adventure because it’s been an experience of a lifetime.

I can’t wait to explore more of Ladakh and other destinations with Wanderon in the future.

My Escape to Serenity: Memories I’ll Cherish Forever

I had the pleasure of visiting Pangong Lake, and it’s undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and serene places I’ve ever seen. The clear blue water, surrounded by towering mountains, took my breath away. I spent the day taking in the beauty of the lake and the peacefulness of the surroundings.

Furthermore, I had the opportunity to experience the unique culture of Ladakh by visiting the Shyok Memorial. The army men welcomed me with open arms, and I was able to dance with them while learning about the local customs and traditions. It was a heartwarming experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in their way of life. Being a civilian, this was an experience I will never forget.

Calming Nature Soothes The Soul

The sand dunes in Nubra were a surreal experience, and I was thrilled to ride on a double-humped Bactrian camel.

The drive from Leh to Nubra Via Khardung la was picturesque, and the Diskit monastery en route was breathtaking. I spent hours observing the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

The hospitality of the locals in both Nubra and Leh made my trip even more memorable, and I left Ladakh with a sense of peace and gratitude.

  •  Dance with army men in Shyok memorial. Being a civilian, this was an experience I will never forget.
  •  We did cross the chang la pass while it was snowing all day and reached Leh and the roads were closed after our group reached there.
  • Even after the uncertain weather conditions the group was bonded and cared for each other and made sure to have fun.
