The Paris Olympics 2024 in France is a huge sports event that brings people from all over the world together. The games will run from July 26 to August 11, 2024. During this time, Paris will be very busy and exciting. France has never hosted anything this big before. Many people around the world will watch and celebrate the Olympics.
More than 10,000 athletes will come from over 200 countries. There will be 32 different sports to watch, including 4 additional sports. In total, there will be 754 events, which include both competitions and ceremonies.

Indian Athletes Competing At Paris Olympics 2024
India sent 112 athletes to the Paris Olympics 2024. They’re competing in 16 different sports including archery, running, badminton, and boxing.
Athletics has the most Indian athletes, with 29 people. Neeraj Chopra, who won gold in Tokyo, is leading the team. India also sent a lot of shooters – 21 in total, which is more than ever before.
The Indian athletes determined to win medals and hope to break some records.
Medals Won By Indians In Paris Olympics 2024 – Highlights
- Manu Bhaker – Women’s 10m air pistol
- Manu Bhaker-Sarabjot Singh – Mixed team 10m air pistol
- Swapnil Kusale – Men’s 50m rifle 3 positions
Manu Bhaker did really well in the women’s 10m air pistol event. She made it to the final round of the competition. This is a big deal because no Indian woman has done this in shooting since the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
As for India’s overall performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics, there are 3 medals won by Indians in Paris Olympics 2024. All of these medals are bronze.
