Ramakrishna Mission To Organize Durga Puja First Time In History
In a surprising event, the Ramakrishna Mission will organise Durga Pooja in Delhi for the first time in its history of 96 years. The Ramakrishna Mission is a society founded by Swami Vivekananda in the year 1897 with the idea of serving God by serving humanity.
The puja is going to take place in close proximity to the Rama Krishna Ashram Marg, and a very beautiful Pandal has been set up, made with the help of a marble platform, where the idol of the Goddess Durga will be placed.
On the ninth day of the Puja, Kumari Puja will take place where unmarried teenage girls are worshipped as Devi.
The puja work started in the month of September only, and Belur Math, headquarters of Ramakrishna Math or Ramakrishna Mission, granted all permissions.
The prime feature is that 6 skilled and talented Dholakis have been called from Bolpur, Kolkata, to perform in the Puja, and the Bhog is also expected to be on a grand level since the devotees will be coming from all parts of the country to take part in the Puja.
