Goodbye to Long Queues: Now Register for Chardham Yatra with a Phone Call!
The Chardham Yatra starts from the month of May and lasts till the month of October. Due to the chaos last year, the Uttarakhand Tourism Department has decided to provide on-call registrations for Chardham Yatra devotees. The Uttarakhand Tourism Department is going to open 15 lines that will be operational from 7 am to 10 pm for assisting pilgrims. Pilgrims who have made their hotel reservations but are having trouble registering for the yatra date can make calls on the toll free number 1364 for people within Uttarakhand, 135164 and 0135-3520010 for pilgrims outside the Uttarakhand region.

The Kedarnath Portals will open after 25th April for registrations. The tourism department has stated that IRCTC will be authorized for online bookings of devotees who will be using helicopter services for Kedarnath Dham.
The Uttarakhand Tourism Department stated that so far 6.34 lakh devotees have registered for the yatra.
