“From Office Blues to Spiti Valley Views ” – Shreyas Senapati
I have been eying on WanderOn for the past 3 years, but taking leaves from the office for a vacation was a far cry. Finally, I booked the tickets and decided to see how it would be later. I asked one of my friends to accompany me who loves to travel. My boss initially disapproved of my leaves, but I didn’t give up. I explained to him how badly I needed this break. It was difficult initially, but finally, I got 4 leaves approved. It was all worth it, I must say.
I always used to think it was about the place and not the people, but after choosing WanderOn, I would say it’s all about people and how people put effort into your comfort. I got 2 close friends on the trip: the bus driver and the team Captain, Shivanshu. Have a look at Spiti Valley Tour packages to plan your trip better.
Barren Mountains With Beautiful Landscapes: My 6 Days and 5 Nights
At first, I thought travelling on my bookings would be cheaper than the company packages. But I wanted to relax and make the most of the trip without worrying.
I just paid the company and did my packing. They assured all of the fun and adventure. Since returning from the trip, I am suggesting everyone I meet to go on trip with WanderOn Travel Company.
Our bus’s tire was punctured, and I was thinking, ‘ab toh phase gye raat ko pahad mei’ but to my surprise, they even had their mechanics travelling with them to avoid any discomfort which may arise.

I never knew the mountains could be this beautiful. Standing on the shore of Chandratal Lake, I just felt alive. I don’t have any other words to describe that feeling. It was amazing. The winds touched my face and took all my worries away.
I had always heard about the beauty of Spiti, and finally, I was there, standing there witnessing it myself. The journey through the Atal Tunnel was mesmerizing. Greens all around with the beautiful landscapes took my heart.
In the evening, looking at the sunset took all my tiredness away. It was so beautiful and worthy. I felt like I could live there forever. The food was so delicious, and the chicken was not expected to be this good. On the less travelled roads, I found myself, I found all the beauty in those mountains.
Pin Valley The Life Of Spiti
As the sun rose over the rugged Himalayan peaks, I eagerly set foot on the enchanting land of Spiti Valley. The air was crisp and tinged with a hint of adventure, and my heart throbbed with anticipation for the journey ahead.
I think Spiti weather guide should also be considered before planning the trip. But anyways I think I’ll plan to go spiti in snowfall again.
With every step I took, the landscape unfolded like a painting coming to life. Towering mountains adorned with glistening snow framed the valley below. The rugged terrain stretched before me, with vibrant prayer flags fluttering in the breeze.
As I ventured deeper into Spiti Valley, I discovered hidden treasures everywhere. Ancient monasteries perched on high cliffs, colorful murals, and resonant chants echoing through the valleys. Buddhist monks, wise and serene, welcomed me into their sacred abodes, sharing stories of spirituality and enlightenment.
I embarked on daring treks, pushing myself to new limits as I conquered steep trails and crossed icy streams. Each arduous climb was rewarded with breathtaking vistas that took my breath away. Crystal-clear lakes mirrored the grandeur of the mountains, reflecting a world untouched by time.
In the evenings, as the sun painted the sky with hues of orange and gold, I found solace in the warm embrace of the locals. Their smiles and hospitality warmed my soul, and together, we shared tales around crackling fires, savouring steaming cups of butter tea, and hearty meals.
Spiti Valley was not just a place but an experience that transformed me from within. Its untouched beauty and spiritual aura touched the deepest corners of my being, reminding me of the power of nature and the resilience of the human spirit.
As I bid farewell to Spiti Valley, my heart swelled with gratitude for the memories I had created. The majestic mountains and the soul-stirring serenity will forever be etched in my soul. Spiti Valley had given me a gift of self-discovery and a connection to something greater than myself.
And so, as I turned back to leave, I knew I would always carry a piece of Spiti Valley with me. Its magnificence and the lessons it taught me would forever guide my future journeys, reminding me to seek beauty, embrace adventure, and nurture the spirit of exploration that had been ignited within me.
Experiencing The Extraordinary
I didn’t know that people outside are so humble and loving. Shivanshu extended on his part to give comfort to all the travellers. Our oxygen was checked every morning. For any discomfort felt, the team captains were there to help us.
They clicked so many pictures of us without any hesitation. We explored many hidden trails of Spiti Valley, which gave a 360* different view.
The journey is always more beautiful than the destination, this proverb got real meaning while I was travelling from Lozar & Kunzum La. The route to reach Spiti Valley is as magical as its destination.
Our Journey’s Highlights Worth Appreciating- Komic Village
One of the highlights of our visit was the visit to the Key Monastery, perched majestically on a hilltop. Its ancient walls echoed with the wisdom of centuries, and the panoramic views from its rooftop were simply breathtaking. We felt a sense of serenity wash over us as we immersed ourselves in the spiritual aura of this sacred place.
As the sun descended, casting a golden glow over the valley, we gathered around a crackling bonfire under a sky ablaze with stars. We shared laughter, stories, and the flavours of local cuisine, savouring every moment as time seemed to stand still.
Our journey to Komic Village was not just a trip; it was a soul-stirring experience that left an indelible mark on our hearts. It reminded us of the profound beauty of simplicity, the power of human connection, and the resilience of communities thriving amidst the harshness of nature.
