In recent news, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made significant changes to its visa policies, particularly concerning the visa-on-arrival system. These revisions aim to enhance accessibility for travellers from 87 countries, including India, streamlining entry procedures and ultimately boosting tourism in the region.

Under the updated regulations, eligible travellers are granted a 30-day visa upon arrival, with an additional grace period of 10 days. Furthermore, citizens from select countries have the opportunity to obtain a 90-day visa upon arrival, offering them more flexibility in exploring the diverse offerings of the UAE.

Of notable significance to Indian citizens is the ease with which they can now access the UAE. Those holding passports, US visit visas or green cards, and UK or EU residence visas valid for at least six months, are eligible for the visa-on-arrival facility. This provision allows them an initial stay of 14 days, extendable for an additional 14 days, providing ample time to immerse themselves in the rich culture and urban landscapes of the UAE.

Moreover, citizens from various nations, such as Albania, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, the UK, and the US, among others, can also benefit from the UAE’s visa-on-arrival facility.

These revisions signify the UAE’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and accessibility, welcoming travellers from around the world to experience its renowned hospitality and world-class amenities. By expanding visa exemptions and offering extended visa durations, the UAE aims to promote tourism and strengthen international ties.

In conclusion, these updates present exciting opportunities for travellers, particularly those from India and other eligible countries, to explore the wonders of the UAE with greater ease and flexibility. The revisions to the visa policies align with the UAE’s vision of becoming a top destination for global travellers, offering an unforgettable experience for visitors from diverse backgrounds.
