The best way to avoid having jet lag is to take out time and sleep in your flight. Let me tell you how you can do that. While being in the air, you can check the time and sleep accordingly. So when you get enough sleep during the flight, you will not feel sleepy when you reach your destination. If you sleep after reaching and it’s still daytime, you will have trouble sleeping at night, so in order to avoid all that, try staying awake during the daytime and you are good to go.

Earplugs, comfy pillows, blankets, and eye masks can help you fall asleep during your flight and just in case you are unable to, try not to sleep when you reach. Trust me, it’ll be very difficult but at the same time, it will be very helpful in fixing your sleep schedule and getting back on track.

Humans make things difficult by going for the easy way and that is when you mess with your body and your health. We often don’t drink enough water to avoid pee breaks especially during the flight when you don’t want to be seen running to the bathroom every now and then and have people staring at you. This usually happens with introverts who are very self conscious about themselves and live on people’s opinions, even if they are complete strangers.

It is said that water can save a lot of people from several health problems, and that also includes dehydration. It has a little less to do with jet lag but it still plays a little part for it helps you manage fatigue and dehydration which is often caused in long flights.
