Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Updates: Trains Set To Roll Out In December
The new Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is almost ready. Made in BEML(Bharat Earth Movers Limited), Bengaluru these coaches are likely to be dispatched in December.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw recently visited Bengaluru to see the new Vande Bharat sleeper coaches. The much-anticipated version of the Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains will be ready to leave the factory this month. They are expected to start running for passengers in December.
Is Vande Bharat Sleeper Train The Future Of Indian Railways?
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw told ANI, that the Vande Bharat Trains use the latest technology in all coaches. He added “These trains are manufactured with a lot of care and vision. They are designed in a way that the passengers go through ultra comfort during the journey. Not just the passengers but even the service staff will have access to these comforts as a special cell is designed for them to take rest.”
He further said that these trains will be the world’s best as they are designed especially for middle-class families with all the safety features like sensors and a warning system called Kavach( alerts the train driver about possible dangers).
Until now, Vande Bharat Trains only had seats. With the launch of Vande Bharat Sleeper class, passengers can rest overnight using berths. These Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains are made in India and are designed to be faster than regular trains.
They aim to give travellers a new way to cover long distances quickly and comfortably while they sleep. This launch of Vande Bharat Sleeper class will be a big improvement for Indian Railways, offering more options for overnight travel on fast trains.
On Saturday, August 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started three new Vande Bharat Express trains through a video conference. These Vande Bharat Trains will improve travel in three states: Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
