Dubai has introduced a new five-year multiple-entry visa to encourage more people from India to visit. This visa allows visitors to stay in Dubai for up to 90 days at a time and can be extended once.

The total stay within a year should not exceed 180 days. In 2023, Dubai saw a significant increase in Indian visitors, with 2.46 million overnight visitors, surpassing the pre-pandemic numbers in 2019.

The new visa initiative is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the relationship between Dubai and India, providing flexibility for both business and leisure travel. Bader Ali Habib from DET expressed Dubai’s commitment to India and believes this initiative will enhance the tourism experience for Indian visitors and boost economic collaboration.

The UAE and India have longstanding cultural, diplomatic, and trade ties, making them key economic partners. DET emphasized Dubai’s appeal to the diverse Indian market, offering attractions such as luxury shopping, cultural experiences, family-friendly activities, and business conferences.

The city is confident that with excellent flight connectivity and ongoing efforts, Dubai will remain a top choice for Indian tourists.
