It is on the Hindustan-Tibet Highway between Kaza and Reckong Peo in Kinnaur. You can reach easily by two buses that have their daily travel routine from Kinnaur to Nako and then further. While you are traveling from Manali, take the bus that leaves for Kaza from Reckong Peo and covers Nako Village on its way. 

Also, you have a choice of hiring a cab for Nako village which takes up to 4 hours, but you will need a permit for that village. This allowance would cost you INR 50 if you are coming from Reckong Peop or even free if you take it from Shimla or Kaza. 

But you need to keep in mind that this permit will only be valid for 14 days, so no need to hurry!
