Get ready for an exciting international tourism expo happening in Greater Noida starting 22nd February! The South Asia Trade Travel Exhibition (SATTE) is back for its 31st edition, bringing together over 1,500 exhibitors and 800 international and domestic buyers. Travel agents from more than 120 cities across India will join the three-day event at the India Expo Mart.

Uttar Pradesh is the host state, and there are also partnering states like Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand. With the support of Informa Markets, the Union Ministry of Tourism, and state tourism boards, the expo aims to unite professionals from the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors.

Running until February 24, the expo will feature discussions on interesting topics like ‘Tourism@2047’, ‘Decoding MICE for Business & Career Opportunities’, and ‘Tourism: The Balancing Act’. Saudi Arabia takes the spotlight as the premium partner country, while Dubai, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand are designated as partner countries.

A new initiative called ‘Atithi’ will debut at the expo this year, focusing on reverse buyer-seller meets to boost inbound tourism. Spearheaded by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) and supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industries, the initiative aims to position India as a premier global travel destination.

Approximately 250 international buyers from 50 countries are expected to participate, fostering business opportunities for stakeholders in the Indian tourism industry. The goal is to showcase India as a highly desirable travel destination worldwide.
