DMRC Releases Tourist Metro Card Ahead Of G2O Summit

As the capital city of India is ready to host the G20 Summit, the most awaited event of the year, there will be a high footfall of passengers. In order to ensure smooth travel, Delhi Metro will be selling Tourist Smart Card at 37 stations in Delhi from 4th September to 13th September.

The best part about these Tourist Smart Cards is that the passengers can take cards with one day validity or 3 days validity and you can take unlimited rides in the metro. 

These cards will also be available on regular days, but there have been dedicated counters opened for hassle-free travel during the G20 Summit that will take place on the 9th and 10th of September. 

The one-day smart card will cost INR 200, and the 3-day validity card will cost INR 500, allowing unlimited metro rides to the passengers. Besides there will also be INR 50 security deposit, which is fully refundable.

These cards will be available in 37 metro stations including Chawri Bazar, Patel Chowk, Chandni Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, New Delhi, Lok Kalyan Marg, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan metro stations, and other major stations as well.
