 In Travel News

If you have always been interested in theatres and wish your kids could learn about acting skills, Delhi is the best place to be for it is hosting a 10-day theatre festival where children between the ages of 8 to 16 can participate.

This 10-day festival will be from June 15 to June 25 at Gandhi Smriti Darshan Samiti Rajghat where children can learn from the best people from the National School of Drama.

The nearest metro to Gadhi Samiti Darshan is Pragati Maidan and Delhi Gate.

The Delhi Tourism Department has taken the initiative to boost tourism and aims to give the children between 8 to 16 a chance to learn something new and creative which they might pursue as they grow up.

All this is free of cost for the children where they can learn from the best in the field and also attend the workshop, which is not charging anything from them. However, only 250 registrations will be done, out of which 150 will be selected to attend the workshop.

A few weeks back, capital city came up with Delhi Haunted Walks to boost tourism and now the theatre festival for children, making the city a fun place for all.

The festival will also feature 6 children’s plays organised by the National School of Drama.

This theatre festival is a blessing because the children will learn acting and theatre skills, and the initiative will also boost tourism.
